Ø  Pay Award 2022/23 (LG22/08)

It was moved by Councillor Mier, Chair of the Licensing and General Purposes Committee, and seconded that the report of the Licensing and General Purposes Committee held on 31 August 2022 be approved and adopted.

It was moved by Councillor Jeeawon and seconded by Councillor Dixon that the Motion be amended by the substitution of the following:

1)     an increase in all scales of £1,500 per annum backdated to 1 September 2022 be approved; and

2)     the Human Resources Committee be convened to consider the development of home working and broadband allowance policies together with one extra days leave for all staff grades as part of a package of additional benefits.

The Amendment on being put was declared CARRIED.

RESOLVED: That

1)     an increase in all scales of £1,500 per annum backdated to 1 September 2022 be approved; and
