Undetermined Major Planning Applications

18/11/2021 - Planning Statistics for the Quarter April - June 2021 (including summary of planning statistics for 2020-2022)

Consideration was given to the report of the Director – Place and Climate Change on the planning statistics for the quarters April to June 2021 and July to September 2021 which included a summary of planning statistics for 2020/22. (In agreement with the Planning Committee, the Chairman considered Agenda Items 12 and 13 together).

Improvements were being realised as a result of the additional resources implemented in the Planning Department. The backlog of work was reducing despite an increase of applications during 2021. Significant focus would continue to manage all cases and monitoring would be ongoing. It was confirmed that, in future a monthly planning statistic report would be presented to the Planning Committee at each meeting.

RESOLVED: That the report be noted.
